Terpenoids generally tend to be non-polar. Assuming your compound to be similar, I'd consider column chromatography using non-aqueous reverse phase using a silica based column using methanol-dichloromethane as a solvent system (start with methanol and run up to dichloromethane). I'd also consider silica get using hexane-toluene, or hexane-ethyl acetate, start with 1% ethyl acetate, rather than 0%, to avoid "dewetting"
Column chromatography with silica gel using chloroform:methanol (8:2) as eluent will be useful to isolate lupeol and other flavonoid rich fractions from your plant.
