It is scientifically must to cite the articles which we refer during the process of conduct of research. What impact such citations create in the scientific life of that researcher?
I am talking about the researcher whose article has been cited.
@Bhavesh, this is the reply I recently got from a researcher whose work I cited. You can see that he is HAPPY that his research has helped younger researchers, and we have realized the USEFULNESS of his research.
'Thank you for the news that you found the SMQ-II useful in your work; I am always happy to hear that from colleagues. Please continue to keep me up to date on your work because I like to learn how the SMQ-II is being used.... Best wishes to you and your colleagues for your research in science motivation, a very important area of science education!'
Thank you so much for sharing your experience on this topic. It is also a great feeling when someone whose article we had cited get back to us in such nice, approachable, valuable and promoting sentences.
yes its really nice to see our research work cited by others specially by seniors i.e. who are experienced in that type of research work. citation of any research work encourage our research more work further with better way...
Dear Mr Bhavesh, when a researcher's paper gets cited, it certifies that the work he/she has done was useful for others (i.e. researchers, public, etc.). The most basic intention for all genuine researchers is to conduct quality research, beneficial to the environment and human race. So when one's article is cited, it increases his/her dedication in doing such research.
