It will depend on sub-specific phytochemical variability within a species, say widely distributed in different continents. In otherwords, if you can establish that such sub-specific variability exists, then two different researchers from two different countries (different phytogeographical regions) can work on the same species and establish differences in activity (as due to differences in chemistry).

well Dear Bhavesh i dont have so much knowledge but i would say in such situation researcher can work together as now it is time of globalization we can interact by internet with other who may be in other country far way...this will solve the research problem in such situation and mutually can get benefited further.

I agree with Mr Suresh, there might be some differences in phytochemical concentration between the same species in different location and this will affect their biological activity
