Dear Professor Vertogradov,

Thank you for your interesting question. I don't subscribe to "spacetime" and so Special and General Relativity myself, but many do. It looks like you have very cleverly spotted another inconsistency in the theory.

I don't know if you have heard of the objection of Silberstein. He was, like you, an expert in General Relativity (I think he even lectured on it). But his understanding was at such a level, that he began to see flaws in it. Please find attached pdf newpaper article about it. All good wishes,
