Hi Abbas! Canonical correlation is used frequently when we are studying very complicated relationships in health care research- it is exciting! We can, as researchers , use more than one dependent variable in our study. It adds meat to the study: more than one canonical coefficient can be generated from a single analysis because of the fact that each coefficient can represent the relationship between one factor in one of the groups of variables, and another related factor in the other group. It would be interesting to hear about your research!
