I would like to know in what time of incubation for EBBS starvation is appropriate for human Peripheral mononuclear cells early time points or longer time points. Anybody have used MDC staning for PBMCs from healthy donors....I have faced a problem...as when I stain the pbmcs with MDC (50 microM) it is very hessy or blurr..

Treatment time with EBSS for inducing autophagy in culture cells (HeLa as an example), is usually for 2 hrs, at least .

The time to induce autophagy in EBSS for the primary cells varies from 30 min to 2 h. Therefore, a time course may be desirable.
