Our dress surely affect the rate of heat transfer from our body, and the food gives us the energy to compensate the the outflow of heat from our bodies.
What I want to reach is an advise about what to wear to have a good metabolism.
Probably you will have a look at the regulations EN ISO 7730 and VDI 3802 (in Germany). Here you will find the dependency of a comfortable feeling on the activity, the clothing and the ambient conditions (temperature, air velocity, turbulence). Hope this will help!
Further studies made about clothing and suggested that black colored clothes absorbs more sunlight energy while light colored clothes (white) reflects the heat from the sun's rays. Otherwise the type of cloth a person wears depends on the climate change and geographical location. I suggest that you wear clothes that may not absorb a lot of heat due to the fact that as the body temperature increases, the BMR also increases eg person with a fever experiences an increase in their BMR. Hope this will help........Ta!!!
