I was trying to use PTAA in my inverted p-i-n perovskite solar cell which had a band gap of 1.20 eV. I used Toluene as a solvent for PTAA and used same for the etching also, i didn't get any photocurrent. What might be the issue with the device ? FYI, the device working well with PEDOT:PSS as HTL on the same structure. The HOMO of PEDOT:PSS and PTAA are almost same , so i eliminated the chance of band- mismatch, what other possibilities it may have ? Also, PTAA is too much hydrophobic that perovskite does not spread well on PTAA due to which i was unable to get fully covered PSK film on PTAA coated ITO . Later, i followed one literature where they spin coated DMF before the perovskite on PTAA , to increase the wettability of PTAA film. Is treating with DMF affects the film Quality ??
