I am asking about the general effect of, cutting speed, depth, roughness, feed. I know that with increased speed roughness is reduced & increase speed causes increased roughness & increased wear.
But what happens to wear and roughness with increase depth (prependical and horizontal) ?
In wear, when you increase speed, feed and depth, wear grow, but speed produce the major influence. In relation with roughness, reduce feed give better values, increase speed can be reduce also. Depth of cut dont have significative influence. Is very important the cutting edge of the tool and the stifness of all the system.
Wear grows when increasing speed, feed and depth. Considering roughness, high speed matching with small feed will give better surface. Depth of cut has the least influence. In my study, the status of cutting edge of the tool has significant influence as well. Sharp cutting edge is not the best choice, but using cutting tools with certain geometric cutting edge can obtain good roughness.
As we know cutting conditions play an important role in surface roughness addition to tool geometry , and feed has agreat influence in surface quality so increasing feed rate led to increase surface roughness also cutting speed the same effect in roughness which introduce tool wear.
The effect of cutting regimes on surface roughness and surface texture in end milling processes is linked to the dynamic stability of the milling process rather than to increasing or decreasing cutting speed, cutting depth or feed .
Chatter vibrations can be induced by variations in cutting speed, cut depth and even by flank wear of the tool, which varies depending on the inclination of the machined surface, the material of the part and other variables.

In the basis on my investigation, feed and speed shows significant factors whereas depth of cut not to much significant. The feed rate has a great influence in surface quality. At high feed rate, a continuous chip formed which are increase of temperature in the workpiece and tool interface which is increase friction that leads to high roughness.
But as Mr. J. Mewis said " It is not generally true that an increase of cutting speed implies a decrease of surface roughness as well as an increase of tool wear. " some case: surface roughness increases when increase of cutting speed until reach of middle poin than the increase of cutting speed more the middle value lead to decrease of surface roughness.
More feed then there will be more contact between the tool and workpiece, more contact will account for more friction which will result into more heat. With more heat tge tool wear will be more and due to dulling of cutting edges surface quality deterioration takes place but if the tool material is having adequate properties to work at elevated temperatures for example Tungsten carbide then the surface finish achieved may be better.
