I need to know the effect of caso4 on the production of ethanol in any medium?is it a good effect or bad? if any reference paper for this available please share with me.URGENT NEEDED
I already read this paper and include some points from here too in my manuscript. but this work is about soluble calcium ions mean which are free and effect on cell growth and production.Actually i wanted to know what is the effect of the salt (insoluble) CaSO4 which is formed after reaction of H2SO4 and Ca(OH)2. what is its effect? No any effect or yes? In my work that salt is formed in more amount and i wanted to know if some one work on the effect on that salt.
All sulfates are soluble except those of barium, strontium and lead. Calcium sulfate, silver sulfate and mercurous sulfate are slightly soluble in water, but calcium sulfate is rarely precipitated in reactions between the calcium and sulfate ions.
According to Chunkeng et al, 2011 and Brethauer and wyman, 2010, they have used Magnesium sulphate and calcium chloride to the growth medium. But in your case, CaSO4 slightly soluble in aqueous medium and theoretically the availability of trace components for microbes is very low. Therefore, the growth rate of sugar fermenting microbes will be reduced. For your convenience, I'm attaching the references herewith.
