I prepared ZnO nanoparticle using hydrothermal and transfer the solution into autoclave (170C) for 10h . what is the changing onto energy gape
thanks
Band gap should increase.
thanks Jyoti Mayekar
may you send paper
thannks
Hello Sir
I am sending few papers.
In this papers they havent used autoclaving but may be by annealing or calcination or some other means they have raised the temperature.
i am also working on ZnO nps.
When I synthesized nps at various reaction temperatures I got increase in band gap with temperature( Result yet to be published).
So I think in your case also autoclaving is increasing the temperature of the system and so band gap should increase.

hello Jyoti Mayekar
thanks very much
but
In case of annealing at higher temp.
main changes well be occurs
Increasing of the particle size
Increasing of the wave length of the absorption
Decreasing of the energy gap( not increasing)
(red shift) and good crystallite also changing of the morphology of the particle size
But in case of outclave (pressure and heat) I don’t know the changes
Yes sir
Let me correct myself the band gap decreases
Dear all, How can i coating TiO2 with ZnO using ZnAC and NaOH. Thanks

In all literature which interesting in DSSC using ZnO as a photoelectrod. I see that binding energy of ZnO approx. 60mev. I feel that it is indicator, but I can't explain why?
