Try hot acidified water (pH=2, T°=80-90°C, 90 minutes). Check this article: 10.1016/j.foodchem.2005.12.012

You may search for literature on enzymatic extractions. Enzymes have been used to isolate plant compounds. Read the attached paper for different extraction techniques used in aromatic crops.
