Hello everybody,
I was wondering wether anybody of you could help me to understand the difference and common features between Illumina's MiSeq vs MiSeq2 devices? Can one perform HLA-typing in both devices equally good using GenDx HLA-typing kits? Does anybody have experience on this?
My searches in the internet and on the Illumina's web site were unfortunately not successful. Please provide links, if possible.

Never heard if there are versions of MiSeq, and company does not say anything about it as well.
The companies or websites specifying MiSeq2, are either saying about the sequencing chemistry or they are wrong.
And regarding your question, if there are no versions of the machine, there is no need to think about the performances.
