I'm working in modeling the insect dynamics in an ecosystem (Brown Plant Hopper distribution in agricultural system). The dynamics of insect strongly depends on the natural phenomenon, but there are some difficulties: (1) ecologists have full data about the insects, but lack of information about the natural phenomenon (just the aggregated data per month, per province, etc) and (2) the dependence of insect into the natural phenomenon seems differently in literature.

Are there people that have experience with this problem?
