I am trying to develop an implementation framework for Green Building in New hospital buildings. I would appreciate if successful best practices can be shared with me.
The implementation of Green building starts from the understanding of what green building entails, i.e the construction of Building that are resource efficient and environmental friendly, starting from the building envelope, using of sustainable materials, using of Energy efficient equipment and meeting of energy demand through renewable energy resources
LEED has a module called: LEED for Healthcare. USGBC offers LEED certification for hospitals. Here is a list of the projects that pursued LEED certification. May be you can get pointers from these project designs.
I was going to add looking at LEED tools for your research but I see another person already recommended it. We have two new green hospitals at the University of Florida that were certified to Green Globes rather than LEED.
