I am currently checking ROS generation in human cells with DCFDA dye and measuring fluorescence on fluorimetry .
What is the best way to express results? What calculations need to be done to express the results of the mentioned assay in an effective way ?

The results can be expressed as fluorescence intensity. You should subtract the fluorescence of the well with DCFDA, but without cells from all of your samples and plot a bar diagram/graph.

Normally, people like to use percent of control, meant the percentage of the intensity of treated cells deviated from control.
% of control = (Treatment - Blank)/ control x 100%
treatment = treated cells,
blank = only solution, normally is PBS
Control = Cells and DCFDA, without drug/treated compounds
