I am looking to suspend Poly(Lactic Acid) microspheres (around 40 to 60 micron diameter) for centrifuging and imaging. I would like the solution to not dissociate the PLA but also one that will evaporate off relatively quickly. Water seems like it would be fine but would be difficult to evaporate and I read that anhydrous EtOH would swell the spheres too much.

Any suggestions?
