Erin Davis I have to admit that at the end I have not found the best way to obtain high quality and quantity DNA yield from samples stored in DMSO. Finally I used 30 mg of tissue and did 5 washes of 30 minutes each with 1 mL of water. They were the only samples I had in DMSO and perhaps the poor DNA yield could also be due to the poor sample quality. Please let me know if you will try the same method and if it will work for you. All the best!
