We are a small (~20 users) laboratory that could use a way to track our samples through multiple analytical streams. A software system that can help to track what processes have been completed and where the samples physically are would be a great help. Data management and manipulation is not necessary. Would prefer an open-source solution but modestly priced software is an option. Please let me know your thoughts and experience. Thanks!
To that goal a substitute of MS Excel is OpenOffice. With the right template y can make track book with the planners you want like Gantt diagrams. Also, there are objective software for small groups that fits very well and it is open source, for instance dotproject and redmine. You can follow the attached links. Bests
