I am trying to measure the solubility of materials such as Li2S and P2S5 in an organic solvent such as Acetonitrile? What would be the best method for doing so using UV- Vis spectroscopy? Are there other methods that are better suited for this example? And if the materials are suspended in the solvent as opposed to dissolved is there a method for the quantitative measurement of the degree of suspension between two different solutions?

Determine the mass of (1 ) Li2S. With stirring, dissolve Li2S in acetonitrile at a constant temperature so that a precipitate remains in the solution. Filter the precipitate. Dry, determine the mass of sediment. By difference (1) and sediment, determine solubility. In order to check the solubility, select a part of the solution, remove acetonitrile by evaporation, and determine the Li2S content by energy dispersive analysis.
