There are many methods for reduce of fly-tipping that are using in cities, such as:
- Increase of public education,
- CCTV systems,
- Regular monitoring,
- Reduce of construction waste materials,
- Maximize the reusing and recycling materials,
- Monitoring the demolition activities,
- Increasing the sufficient facilities and access for disposing of the solid waste,
- Trip ticket system,
- Charging fee,
- Combating fly tipping by regulations,
Why fly tipping still is not fully stopped?
Fly tipping is the illusion that you can get something for free. By fly tipping people pass on the problem of waste to others like local councils or landowners who then have the job of cleaning it up. There is also the laziness factor - dumping rubbish is easier than putting it into a proper receptacle for disposal - and often cheaper too. If people really want to fly tip they will find a way even though there are many ways to try to combat the problem.
A compounding issue is that if rubbish is left laying around others will get the idea that it is okay to dump their rubbish there and pretty soon it turns into a mountain.
Because it is throwing stuff out (tipping) as you pass by (on the fly).
