I have been using tubulin as internal control for my western blotting analysis of mice islet lysates. I wonder if there is a better internal control the researchers working with mice islets use.

But a fact which actually makes life somewhat easier on a stain free gel and on the blot is that try to select the internal control which has a wide difference with your protein of interest in terms of molecular weight. This pronounced difference is really helpful many times.
