the calcium gluconnate has too low solubility and cant be disolved very well to be sprayed on plant. on the other hand nitrate form has high solubility and is common form of calcium in green house applications. but it seems that the reduction of nitrate take much of plant energy and a growth delay will appear in plant subjected to nitrate spray. moreover, high concentrate solutions will cause necrosis of the plant leaves. in this respect, I think that te best source will be calcium acetate
