How much DNA are you getting and what's the quality of it? There's a kit by Macherey-Nagel that I've used recently that's been decent when extracting DNA from some cell samples. It's supposed to be designed for tissue collection as well: "NucleoSpin Tissue XS by Macherey-Nagel". Hope that helps.
