Toxicity definitely depends on the cell type - some cells tolerate polybrene better than others. 8ug/ml is a good place to start I think. But yes - AML12 cells are a pain to transduce! Very inefficient

We usually use it at a range of 4-8 ug/ml. For the length of transduction, this amount should not be toxic. I hope this helps.
