I want to ask the summary of the benifical effects of the endophytic fungus Serendipita indica.
Serendiptia indica was formerly known as Piriformaspora indica. It is a fungus which is endophytic but culturable on laboratory media. Rather than an affinity to arbuscular mycorrhizae it is aligned with basidiomycete asexual stage. It is known to increase the drought salt and temperature tolerance in plants which are colonized by it. There is information that the plant metabolism is stimulated so diseases and pests are not as susceptible. These broad benefits include better growth and higher nutrient contents.

Serendipita indica (= Piriformospora indica) is widely distributed as a symptomless root endophyte, and it colonizes members of bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms and angiosperms. The fungus is reported to increase plant growth resulting in an increase in yield. It also control phytopathogens by secreting different toxic compounds and by colonization.

Serendipta indica is a culturable endophyte that colonies root system .many literatures indicate that S.indica has many activities such as plant growth promoter, bi-fertilizer,bioherbicide ,immune modulator, etc.
Most of these fungi work to increase the readiness of the elements and thus increase the growth of the plant is a process of mutual benefit

Dear Nahid Akter, For a practical contribution you might want to concentrate looking at the use of Serendiptia indica as a seed treatment which would have the been impact for using low amounts and having greater effects.
As a seed treatment the idea would be the development of uniform chlamydospor formulations with useful shelf life for their widespread use.
As for a title I would suggest the seed inoculation of beneficial symbiont and the development of effective methodology for effective chlamydospore formulations.
The studies would include laboratory greenhouse and field evaluation.
