8 months! Terrible experience with Taylor & Francis group.
After 6 months they sent us reviewers comments... we revised the article then one month later they sent us an email that since the editor of the journal has been replaced, the new editor decided to reject our article regardless the process that we have already been through....
The communication was also completely useless and non-existent at times.
Seems to be a huge mess with no responsibility taken and no respect for author's time. Wouldn't recommend this group to anyone.
(The article we submitted to Taylor & Francis group was a short and simple case report...)
I got my paper reviewed in just 3 months. Sent the reviewed paper within one month and just after 5- 6 days it got accepted. Good experience with Taylor and fransis (International Journal of Remote sensing).
I submitted a paper for publication in one of the Taylor & Francis' journal (i can't tell its name for a purpos) about "may 2018", in "october 2018" i had been sent the first review with "minor revision" i made the requested corrections and answered the requested queries and resent the revised peper about december 2018 just before deadlines, untill now my paper is in review.........for the first time and after a month and few days i thought that my submission was considered as a new one since it was given minor revision in the first round and papers with minor revision usually don't take long in the second round to be hundeled, so i started asking about that, i sent an email to the Editor, he claimed that he checked my submission and noticed that only one reviewer has sent his revision and he is waiting for the others, based on that i thought that it was really considered as a new submission since normaly revised paper should be sent to the reviewers whome review was sent in the first round, accordinly i sent a question about that to the Editor he replied and said that my submission wasn't considered as a new one and it is still under review, then i sent to Talor & Francis' Editorial Assistant to get more information they told me that some Editors may send papers to another review with reviewers others then the ones in the first round. it was really a grinding machine
