Hi,

We are using Akta Avant 25 for R&D purposes. I am trying to optimize preparation of 1xPBS+0.09% Sodium Azide buffer by using the Quaternary valves to mix and prepare the buffer instead of making it manually each time. Current hand made buffers show a lot to lot variation in conductivity from 16.98mS/cm to 21.11mS/cm. This fluctuation is probably based on a few mls of 20xPBS added more or less based on different lots. From QC perspective, is this fluctuation significant? If I use the Quaternary valves on board the Akta FPLC to make the buffer and it shows this fluctuation, would it be of concern?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
