Paper instead of papet ,spell mistake

Wherever Internet is ubiquitous on mobile, paper newspapers suffer.

Take the case of UK newspaper The Guardian. It was printing at 500k per day some 10 years ago. It went down to 100k,and even less.

They developed a very aggressive and well-thought internet strategy.

Now they have less paper copies (some elderly customers, few others) but MANY MORE Readers.

In Europe, Gutenberg created the printing revolution 500+ years ago.

Since, the publishing industry has transformed itself digitally.

For professional publishing (science, business) look at the case of Elsevier competing with Springer.

20 years ago, scientific articles were in paper journals bought by scientific libraries.

Now it's online.

I was asked by Springer publishing to pay 15 USD to access in digital form (online) an article I was the author of. I find this very sad.
