"The four characterizing factors of psychological capital have been formed into an acronym “HERO.”" Hope, efficacy, resilience, optimism.
Psychological Capital is defined as “an individual’s positive psychological state of development” (Fred Luthans, et al., 2007) which is characterized by having high levels of HERO; the four elements of Hope, (Self-)Efficacy, Resilience, and Optimism. I add our paper on psychological capital.
CoinIngs like psychological or human capital are, imo, misleading word creations, dear Alwielland Q. Bello The forces of the human psyche pertain to labor or work and not to capital as the techno-economic materialization of
human effort, which is generally accounted in monetary units.
However, I do understand that such book titles may sell better; the HERO concept itself is worthwhile to study, with respect to research into the advancement of human achievement levels.
