In Malaysia orthodox medicine is usually regarded by lay people as drug from synthetic preparation or conventional drug such as paracetamol tab, suspension and etc. Whereas herbal is tradisional drug from plants which is either bark or leaves which is crushed and give in capsule or tablet which is basically sugar coated due to taste. It may be boiled to extract the ingredients. Here the main active ingredients is not know as compared to orthodox drugsborbproduct.

 It means that orthodox medicine has originated from plants or/and synthetic material?
