I am looking for the gas solubility of some common gases (N2, O2, CO2, Ar, He, etc) under different pressures in silicone oil (low viscosity 0.65cSt, hexamethyldisiloxane) but am unable to find such data.
The issue I am trying to solve is to find a gas that has low solubility in the oil so that I can use a pressure-driven system to pump the oil without dissolving a lot of gases in. Currently I am using nitrogen and I am observing many bubbles generating downstream my process.
Can I get some help from people? Thanks!!
In general the solubility data series offer a lot of data for common gases in many fluids. I would suggest to check here:

However In the field of oils it is hard to find non-contradicting results, especially regarding the temperature dependancy.
I experienced the same problem while pumping silicone oil through a microfluidic setup for long periods. I solved the issue by using a physical barrier between the oil and the air that I used for pumping. Specifically, I used a piece of nitrile (from a glove) to fully separate the oil from the air and seal the container simultaneously. When the pressure is applied, the nitrile acts as a deformable membrane and displaces the oil (same principle used in hydraulic pressure accumulators: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMDE5v3ouN8 ).
