For my project I am involved in the Application of Fluorescence technique in the Biological system, I want to have more result from the fluorophore I have labelled. therefore I want to know how to use Fluorescence imaging Microscope and what are the advantages of it.
Yes the so-called Fluorescence Imaging Microscope is a very powerful research tool that can help us to understand the protein interactions. But, it depends on what kind of antibody(ies) are plan to us and what kind of fluorophore(s) will be involved. Then how are you going to make the antibody go into the cells. On top of those, you need to fingure out how the membrane perforating agents (saponin, triton-X100, etc.) are going to affect the cell structure. The technique needs a lot of fine tuning and each study will need a lot of try-outs. Once you find out the best protocol then the picture will be great and provide you a lot of information.
