As we all know that there are multiple journal are available belonging to our research domain. But while submitting the manuscript what most important thing we need to consider.
How is SCI and ESCI different. Do we prefer ESCI over the Scopus or not?
Can you please suggest the criteria to select the journal among SCI, ESCI, WOS and Scopus?

The ESCI aims to ensure the important research works are visible in the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection even if it is not yet internationally recognized. ESCI journals may have chances to be included in the SCIE when the journal continuously maintains high-quality, peer reviewed publications.
SCI, SCIE and Scopus are commonly accepted indexing that are preferred by PhD committee (in India UGC-Care also) based on their quality of publication.

Thanks for your reply. I have gone through the above link it clears my much of doubt. But still arises question that SCIE is expected to include in main SCI after what time period?

Frankly speaking, any peer review journal can take Scopus indexing when they have regular issue (atleast 5-10 years after fst issue). But when journal having ESCI (may be having web of Science indexing) means it will take 5-10 years to become SCIE (having web of science indexing surely) and furthermore 5-10 years to become SCI.
University (especially foreign) considering mostly SCIE or SCI indexing not ESCI or Scopus for performing or faculty or researchers positions.

Two things. First of all, I suppose you mean how long will it take before an ESCI journal might be transferred/included to/in SCIE. Unfortunately, there is no real answer for that, it depends on and varies for basically every journal (it can be as quick as a few years up to more than five years or so if ever...).
Second, do realise that SCI no longer exists. As of January 3, 2020 SCI no longer exists; it is integrated in SCIE, see also: https://support.clarivate.com/ScientificandAcademicResearch/s/article/Master-Journal-List-Removal-of-SCI?language=en_US
