Hi everyone,
I need your professional advice: I started growing episomal iPSC (commercial cell line). I grow them in StemFlex medium. What would you recommend as the most effective freezing media for these cells ?
I read a lot of options - from e.g. 10%DMSO+90% FBS (+/-ROCK) to cryo-SFM etc. I'm not so sure about using FBS if I grow iPSC in feeders-free, serum-free media.
Maybe that option would be better: Media: FBS: DMSO as 50: 40: 10 proportion?
Maybe there are those who work with these very cells and know which medium is best (i.e., the cells recover best after thawing)?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
