I will be conducting a large scale common garden experiment starting this summer. I have limited experience on efficient phenotyping and am wondering about growth/performance phenotypes, which adequately represent a plants well-being.
The experiment will involve over 1'400 plants (Biscutella laevigata, Brassicacea) and I am therefore in need of non-invasive phenotypes that do not take more than one or two minutes to measure per plant, but still accurately reflect its performance. Performance phenotyping will take place several times over the course of three years.
Thank you for your input.
