Dear All

I have a question regarding the use of graphpad, prism

I have an experiment with a control and a treatment (2 conditions)

For each N (1 patient), I took 5 pictures to quantify an effect and obtained 5 countings.

So I have datas at 2 levels : the 5 countings per patient for which it is possible to have a mean, a SEM and a N (equal 5)

and the other level of the 7 patients I tested with no molecule (N=7 control) and 7 with the molecule (N=7 for treatment).

I chose to represent the experiment graphically with 7 points for control and 7 points for treatment and a mean (that is actually the mean of the 7 points,

each point obtained with the means of the 5 coutings). Is there a way to do statistical analysis that includes the means and N of the 5 countings per patient ?

I can assume that it is statistically different to obtain a difference between groups based on simply N=7 or on N=7 with each of the N is a mean with a SEM associated.

Thank you for your help :)
