Representative governments are actually mixed form of government, encompassing both democratic and non-democratic elements. The situation becomes hazardous for society when decision-making power is concentrated in the governing party with extremely radical views. This may lead to violation of the liberal minority’s rights concerning, e.g., the worldview or socioeconomic issues.

Can we avoid such a situation in today’s democratic systems? I don’t think so, but we can avoid it if we transform the modern forms of democracy into a system free of paradoxes and pathologies, which, as known, have a negative impact upon our lives.

Following this idea, in my book "SEDNO" (THE POINT), I have proposed and described in detail a new democratic system, called D.E.S. Democracy (in short - D.E.S.) a reliable, modern government and socioeconomic system, originating from the Philosophy of Beings’ Values (PBV) based on the natural laws (physical laws). The mainstream thought of PBV is the CANI’s Hierarchy of Beings which classifies the beings according to their mutual supremacy from the highest to the lowest: NATURE – HUMANS and their IDEAS and NEEDS fulfilled by them and at the same time indicates and explains the real essence of beings, their mechanism of formation and development as well as their mutual interdependence and interactions with each other.

Since humans are not able to change the laws of nature, this Hierarchy represents itself the indisputable classification for understanding the power of being values. Ultimately, PBV philosophy’s theses has been used as the starting points from which 51 D.E.S. theses has been derived logically and formulated.

Democracy founded on such solid foundations puts the D.E.S. on a pedestal of values to which other democracies should tend.
