ISO 9001:2008 Certified International Journal - Some publishers are displaying the International Standards Organization (ISO) logo, and some Journals claim to be ISO 9001: 2008 Certified. Example: please see this link:

ISO 9001 certification means that the journal is able to provide evidence of having an established and operating Quality System, for example there is a quality manual and supporting documentation that the quality manual is followed. Undergoing an ISO9001 audit is not trivial exercise and it is no longer just a are you doing what you say you are doing but rather there is an element of "is that the best approach/thing you can be doing for quality".
Dear Dr. Tremethick and Dr. Thole, Thanks so much for your reply. But I think ISO 9001 certification is given ONLY to goods that are manufactured and nothing to do with publishing organizations, such as journals, books ....
As you said above, Can you help me to obtain the quality manual and supporting documentations regarding this issue please?

The unfortunate thing about standards as Henning Thole pointed out is the copyright and consequently they are not free and to get hold of the ISO 9000 series will cost some money, it is very easy to rack up several hundred $$$.
A cheaper first approach is to google iso9000, the wiki is a starter but you will also find several sites which discuss the changes between different years of the standards and they tend to give you more details of what is included.

There are a number of websites which will give you a quite indepth understanding of the standards content without actually reading the standards. Once you have a good grounding then look at forking out the cash and reading the standards. Be warned it is a whole new world!
