What do you think the long-term trend will be? Energy consumption is currently declining, but as energy consumption in the home sector increases, energy consumption in the home sector and telecommunications systems is likely to increase.

Due to the salutary effects of COVID-19 on pollution level due lockdowns and decreased emissions due to gas or petrol, next generation of energy production will be environment friendly.

Motor industry is already giving a plan of shying away from petrol or gas engines and replace it with electrical battery (chargeable) engines. This will further reduce the prices of petroleum products and gas.
