What is happened when reactor (trickle bed) is warm up for 4 hours to reach 150C, then 60mL/min of liquid oil is allowed to pass through into the reactor, at the same time hydrogen gas pressure is introduced with 40bars. Suddenly, reactor temperature declined to 113C. What is the mechanism of reactor changes in temperature when liquid and H2 gas pass through into the reactor?
Are your feeds heated? If your reaction is exothermic, check if the heat of reaction is sufficient to mantain the temperature of the reactor. good luck!
Is the hydrogen stored at 40 bar? What is the reactor pressure? If the reactor is at a lower pressure than the feed gas, then the gas will cool as it expands. Also, what is the reaction that is taking place?

Yes, my feeds are heated up at 85C, catalytic cracking is taking place where endothermic reaction in occurs first, then hydrocracking or hydrotreating process occurs where formation of heat is released ( exothermic reaction). The react of reaction is supposed to be constant once catalytic and hydrotreating take place in the reactor, I intend to work at 350C for reactor temperature and pressure of 40bars.

The reaction is catalytic cracking (i.e. endothermic) and hydrocracking where hydrogen is added into the reactor (i.e. exothermic reaction).
Have you calculated the mass and energy balance and included the reaciton kinetics? This may elucidate the cause.
Also, is the temperature drop transitory or steady state?
