In developing countries there is a lot of political and administrative corruption. Many times the assets of the politicians rise disproportionately to their know sources of income. once they are convicted by the highest curt of law. what happens to such assets in your country?
The question came to my mind as recently such a case happened in my country and the amount of money involved is enormous.

In my country, Argentina, there is much talk about the need for money and other resources from corruption to be returned to the government.. We'll see...
It is there, we should remove from root level by doing honesty things, start from ourselves.
I feel that the movable and immovable property of these corrupt politicians should be auctioned and the money needs to be put in the State exchequer or spent on a committed cause. The landed properties or farm houses should be converted into homes for the destitute or other such welfare oriented activities.
