The question i have is about the diversity of robotic systems and fields. what fields of robotics (e.g. ground, marine, submarine, medical, humanoid, etc) does it include? are there any research positions for international students/researchers?
We live in a time when there are no concrete examples in our daily lives about the use of robots in human life. However, current news about technology shows that this is not far from being implemented. However, most of the news on this subject reveals that robots are being used in military technology. In this case, it is an indication that human beings still have not learned from their mistakes. Using robot technologies on the battlefield can lead to the total destruction of humanity in the future. However, robot technology will be much more useful for humanity if it is used for health and social purposes at work sites. However, it is a pity that those who decide the future of such a useful technology have a classical mindset. I wish a world where humanity does not exploit each other and equality and prosperity become more clear.
i agree with you. However, my question was mainly concerned with the project TERRINet. I want to know if there are any opportunities for collaboration with this project.
Hi Alireza Hosseinnajad , there is a large variety of platforms offered within the project, covering pretty much all the fields that you mention. You can view and search all the offered platforms here: https://www.terrinet.eu/robotic_database_show_all_platforms/
I'm unsure what you mean with your second question. The calls are open to applicants of all positions - MSc/PhD students up to full professors, as well as researchers from industry, but even high school students are welcome.
