i start synthesis of TiO2 via hydrolysis of TTIP via sol gel method
firstly i add ethanol 96% to TTIP (solution 1) under stirring and i add second solution (H2O+HCl) to the first to obtain the Sol
for the first solution(TTIP+EtOH) somtimes when i add EtOH dropwise and slowly the resultant solution is limpide and not white
but other case when i add EtOH dropwise an fastly the white solution is obtained
what is the problem and what type of ethanol should i use for this purpose

Dear Allouche,
From our experience, most of the researchers use analytical grade (99%+) solvents for synthesis of nanoparticles including TiO2. We used propanol, instead of ethanol, with different peptizers (acids and bases).
You are getting slight difference in the sol-gel colour, but you have not clearly mentioned if this is because you are using two different purity grades ethanol. Even if you used lets say 96% and 99% ethanol then I don't think that would have significant effect on the sol-gel colour.
There are many other factors such as stirring speed, exact ratios of TTIP and solvent, and how to mix both solutions that may effect the sol-gel colour.
