I want to move our chemical experiments reports from paper to an ELN, but I am bit confused with all the existing options. Which ones do you recommend in terms of clearity and simplicity? Ideally, it should be free and/or open source. Thanks!

Thank you for your reply, Aparna! Based on my own experience, most of the ELNs require a payment per user, something that obviously universities pay if they hire the service. However, I am starting a spin-off and those costs won't be covered by the University. So, that is the reason I am looking for free alternatives.
