Fellow researchers,
I am preparing to model some erosion process in ABAQUS with UMESHMOTION subroutine and ALE adaptive meshing scheme. I have compiled the subroutine without any errors. However, I am facing this hurdle regarding the adaptive meshing procedure. I am repeatedly getting this error "What does the error "Application of adaptive constrains requires an adaptive mesh domain". I am possibly missing something here. Can anyone familiar with this error suggest me a solution?

Simply I think adaptive means smart and you can find it in APDL GUI menu
