How does ABAQUS interpolate a property with multiple field variable dependencies?

Fellow researchers,

I have a query regarding the method ABAQUS uses for interpolating the values of a property that has multiple dependencies. I have read the Material data definition section in the documentation but I still don’t understand something. Let’s suppose I have a dependent variable P, which depends on 3 field variables FV1, FV2 and FV3 with ranges [0,1], [0,1] and [0,2], respectively. As required by ABAQUS, the entry in the CAE for the property with respect to a particular field variable should be done while keeping the other two constant. So I have prepared the table shown in the attached image file. My question is this, how will ABAQUS interpolate when I have a FV combination of 0.5, 0.5 and 0.5. Can you please explain to me the method?
