I submitted a revised manuscript to one of the Springer journals on 1st of Aug, 2018. The status was "Editor Invited" till 4th of Sep, 2018 and then changed to "Pending for Editor". Is there any difference between these two statuses? Any suggestions for me?
It might mean that the assignment to editor is pending. In my experience with springer, they take a lot of time even in case of revised submission. You need to wait because if it was major revision, it will take a couple of months. However, you can always contact the editor and inquire them about the status of your paper and request them to expedite the process if possible.

Once you submit your revised manuscript the editor handling your manuscript will look through your revisions to assess if they are satisfactory. Since revisions were in response to a minor revisions verdict, it seems likely that the next step would be accept unless the revisions were not satisfactory, in which case additional revisions might be necessary. In any case, the editor is now assessing your manuscript.

Usually, the associate editor has given a recommendation for a particular submitted paper to the senior (main) editor.
Before the final decision is given by the senior editor, the status will be stated as "Editor Assignment Pending".

I contacted the Editor-in-Chief on email, but I got a response from the Journal Editorial Office (JEO) Assistant saying "We are still waiting for the invited editor to accept and handle the paper on his/her end. In line with this, I already send him a reminder letter to respond to the invitation. Rest assured that once the decision has been rendered you will be notified immediately". This email was sent one day before changing the status from "Editor Invited" to "Pending for Editor".
The status went back to "Editor Invited" on 13 Sep. After that, the status was changed to "Under Review" on 14 Sep. It seems that another editor has been invited instead of the first one and he has sent the manuscript for a second round of review.
Unfortunately, the revised manuscript was sent to another reviewer (Instead of the 1st one) as the 1st one is unavailable. So, the status still "Under review" till now.
Again, thank you all. I have received the comments of an associate editor and a reviewer in the second time and finally I have got the acceptance for publication.
