I submitted a manuscript to a peer reviewed Springer journal. After about 3 months of reviewing, the editor has sent me only the comments of one reviewer. I want to know why.
Ask the editor, not us. Reasons may be that the 2nd reviewer was non commital / positive / too negative / did not want his feedback to be quoted / did not exist

sometimes it is not up to editor only. He might have received only one reviewer feedback and he think it is time that author should get feedback. Since reviewing is volunteer responsibility mostly, so there could be multiple reason/s. You might get comments of additional reviewer later on (as it happened with me in past).
It is true that the editor probably sent the paper to one reviewer only, but it could also be that he sent you comments of one reviewer while more comments are in the journal submission site.
In that case, there is a high chance that the manuscript will be resent for review. And this time you may expect a more thorough response (2+ reviewers).
Prof. Hisham, I agree with you that maybe the second reviewer accepted the manuscript. I have made the modifications and sent them. Many thanks for your answer.
thank you for your kind answer. I'd like to inform you that the revised manuscript has now three months of "Under Review". It is too much for a revised manuscript.
Again, thank you all. I have received the comments of an associate editor and a reviewer in the second time and finally, I have got the acceptance for publication.
