(2). what is the appropriate contact status for my case, if I intend to model bonded contact between RUBBER and STEEL PLATE. (Modeling Base Isolation)?

dear Yudha Lesmana, in FEM Software so-called contact elements provide some means for modeling flexibile contact conditions in a way that they allow for surface contact (closed), when at least normal, compressive Forces can be transfered, and for the e.g. local loss of contact between surfaces (opened), while no Forces nor heat can be conducted through this elements (locally). I guess it will be the same with ANSYS in this case.
While it sounds simple this is a complex mathematical problem. You should endeavor to find some test results to verify your FEA results. Contact friction will vary and since rubber will be nonlinear (modulus) well before steel I expect you will have some significant convergence issue to overcome.
